Ajai Chowdhry is the Co-Founder of HCL (Hindustan Computers Ltd), MAIT (Manufacturers Association of Information Technology) and ICA (Indian Cellular Association)

He also helped in creating the Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (EDSM) industry in India and the National Policy on Electronics, 2019. The list is long, and I could go on, but I would rather recommend you to read the book instead of this list. The story is much more fascinating and enchanting.

 

As one of the founders of HCL, established in India and then further developed in Singapore and the world, he became a pioneer in the hardware industry in our country, bringing the PC revolution, and then the collaborations with Nokia led the movement of broad phone adaptation, bringing the mobile phone revolution.

 

But as you read in the list above, this is not a story of business or entrepreneurship alone. This is the story of a man with versatile talent and interests. Through his journey, one can see how he is so diverse and deep in his work and the areas of impact he creates.

 

He being not only an entrepreneur and businessman but also an educationist, reformer, and jazz aficionado. He wore all the hats with grace and enthusiasm and has proven that one can excel in more than one area with dedication, passion, and perseverance.

 

A proud Indian, being revolutionary, and having a future-oriented mindset are a few of his qualities that I admire sincerely. I am so lucky to have gotten a chance to read this gem. I hope you all also read and enjoy his aspiring journey.
